Aim

Develop an educational minecraft-like game for students aged 11-14 to teach them about healthy choices, nutrition, and the consequences of obesity. Partners wanted to enhance their understanding of nutrition, healthy choices, activities, and English education in a European context; and to develop formal and informal, curriculum-aligned educational materials.

Outcome

Minecraft-like educational game was developed to teach students about phsyical activity, nutrition, healthy food, obesity, its consequences, and healthy choices.


A project website was created, which included the lesson plans, digital booklet, and other outputs.


Lesson plans for teachers were developed, which included the importance of selecting foods that provided the proper balance of vitamins and nutrients. They highlighted fun games and activities that students could participate in to enhance both emotional and physical development.


Fun and healthy digital book with 29 children friendly recipes. This booklet aimed to encourage children to consider what they eat and how it affects their bodies.
