PEM was reported to help people with disabilities or long-term conditions achieve activity levels comparable to the general population, reducing health inequalities. Participants reported lower use of services like GP visits and hospital care, leading to an estimated annual cost saving of £365.23 per person. The increase in life satisfaction after one month of PEM was valued at £22,230 per person per year. An annual social value exceeded £20 million, with up to £58.71 generated for every £1 invested.
