Silkeborg – The Outdoor Capital of Denmark – is a visionary municipality with a focus on welfare, nature and physical activity outdoor. It seeks to harvest the variety of benefits of being outdoor for all the citizens in the municipality – both socialy, mentaly and physically.

Developed a masterplan on "How to realize the Outdoor Capital". With a holistic 360 approach, they bring nature into the picture wherever they see new opportunities for the development of whole communities on a local, national or international level.
Increased Tourism: The project has boosted the region's tourism, with outdoor activities contributing significantly to local economy.
Improved Public Health: Engagement in outdoor activities has been linked to better mental and physical health among citizens.
Environmental Awareness: Increased local and international awareness of sustainable outdoor tourism practices.
