Aim

The "Healthy Cycling Challenge" is a global call for innovative and ready-to-implement initiatives that leverage cycling as an active mode of transport and a public health tool. It seeks scalable community-based interventions focusing on active and accessible neighborhoods, and resilient, inclusive infrastructure. The challenge aims to identify and support projects that demonstrate how cycling can contribute not only to individual health but also to urban sustainability and social equity. It encourages creativity in promoting cycling for all.

Outcome

Outcome

The challenge provides grants for pilot projects, encourages cross-sector collaboration, and creates healthier, greener, and more connected urban communities through cycling. Funded projects often have a measurable impact on increasing cycling participation, reducing sedentary behavior, and improving urban quality of life.
