Aim
Velo Schools aims to integrate sustainable transportation into schools by encouraging students and teachers to commute by bike
The initiative promotes environmental sustainability, healthy habits, and reduces traffic congestion by creating a safe and supportive infrastructure for cycling.
Outcome
Outcome
The initiative has successfully increased the number of students and teachers using bicycles for daily commutes, contributing to a healthier environment, reducing the carbon footprint, and fostering active transportation habits among young people.
It has also led to the creation of bike-friendly infrastructure in schools and local communities. Additionally the project has achived a network of 90-150 schools, local cyclying events and awareness campaigns.
