HL4EU Opens Registration for Virtual Focus Groups on Cross-Sector Collaboration for Healthy Lifestyles
The HL4EU project has launched a series of Virtual Focus Groups (VFGs), and we are calling on organisations across Europe working in NCD prevention and health promotion to take part. This next phase of the project will bring together stakeholders from a wide range of sectors involved in promoting active and healthy living to explore what enables - and what hinders - effective cross-sector collaboration.
This initiative builds on more than a year of work by the project consortium to compile and analyse good practice initiatives on cross-sector collaboration for healthy lifestyle promotion, carried out through extensive desk research and a Europe-wide Call for Good Practice Sharing.
Each 90-minute VFG will be limited to eight participants to ensure in-depth discussion and meaningful exchange. Using Zoom and a collaborative digital tool, the sessions will provide space for open dialogue, joint problem-solving, and the co-creation of policy guidance. Participants will have the opportunity to:
Share their experiences and insights
Work with others to identify challenges and solutions
Contribute directly to the development of actionable policy recommendations.
The focus groups will be facilitated by the It’s Great Out There Coalition, with the aim of co-creating practical policy recommendations that can support future EU initiatives and strengthen efforts to build a healthier, more resilient Europe. These recommendations will be presented at the project’s final conference in Brussels in May 2026 and disseminated widely among policymakers, civil society, and organisations committed to advancing public health through cross-sector collaboration.
